Sula by Toni Morrison #1of500books

Reading Sula by Toni Morrison was an encounter for me. I still have mixed feelings from reading, maybe because it felt like a confrontation. I felt, and i did not feel.

Toni Morrison was such a gifted writer indeed, an interrogative master of her pen, such that reading her work always feels like an examination of some sort. What kind of book is Sula? what kind of writing is this?…questions…more questions…i satisfied them with the pleasure of reading till the very end.

God bless Toni Morrison and her memory.
